Popie's Island Flatbread


Prep time: 20 mins Cook time: 25 mins Total time: 45 mins.

Foodie mash up of jerk flavors and wings served up like an Italian pizza pie.

Ingredients:

  • Ready-made flatbread crust or refrigerated pizza dough

  • Olive oil seasoned with Oma & Popie’s Jerk rub

  • 3/4 cup diced or shredded cooked chicken

  • ½ cup red onion

  • ½ cup sliced yellow peppers

  • Grated Italian style cheese - light or heavy, you choose

  • ½ cup of Oma & Popie’s Ja Makin’ Me Crazy Wing Sauce

  • ¼ cup chopped green onion

Directions:

Step 1. Brush ready-made flatbread or cooked pizza dough with olive oil seasoned with jerk rub and baked in 350 degree until it starts to crisp (approximately five minutes).

Step 2. Take out of oven and beginning with the sauce layer all ingredients except the green onions (Oma likes to add pineapple).

Step 3. Bake in 425 oven until toppings begin to bubble.

Step 4. Top with green onions, slice and enjoy with your favorite beer.
