Drunken Bourbon Meatballs with Raspberry & Mango - A perfect dish for potlucks

Prep time: 20 mins Cook time: 20 mins Total time: 40 mins.


  • 1 lb. ground beef and ground pork

  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Cracked pepper to taste

  • 1 egg

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil (for browning the meatballs)

  • 1/2 jar of Leaping Lizard's Raspberry Mango Pepper Jelly - Homemade by Dorothy

  • 1 cup Drunk Uncle Marinade

  • 1 Tbsp. molasses

  • 1/4 cup bourbon


Step 1: Set oven to 350F. Mix first six ingredients.

Step 2: Warm oil olive in skillet and quickly brown meatballs in batches.

Step 3: Transfer meatballs on baking sheet and finish in oven for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 4: Mix last four ingredients in skillet that you browned the meatballs in.

Step 5: Bring to simmer and gently simmer for about 10 minutes or to desired thickness.

Step 6: Remove meatballs and pour sauce over them in serving dish.
